I'm still chicken!

Online I have found a number of possible solutions

- waiting until a cool night and then placing something (like a heavy carpet) over the hole to keep the bees inside

- maybe there's a local area beekeeper that will come get the bees for free

-plus an assortment of receipes from others that have used them successfully

But alas, my last "bee sting" incident has turned me "off" from going back out there again so I'm going to wait until the weather gets colder (REAL COLDER) and then discard of the cushion(s)!
