And I found out that while the water is slowly draining down the clog the pipe in the basement is pretty much rusty to a fault!  So far I have duck-taped it hoping that THAT will help. The piping system probably needs an overhaul but I want to take my time with this and get someone reliable to do the job - plus I have to set aside a budget for it.

I still had the windows up!For some reason I just walked by the radiator and felt that it was warm. The heater hasn't been on since - I believe - May. It's not a pretty site! The pipe is leaking in the basement and the pipe is in back of another pipe which makes reaching it quite difficult. I know that I am going to have to replace the pipes because they have been there for a while now. But at least when I have them replaced I'll have a warranty and will know that the pipes are new.Now I got to find a reputable company to do the job.

Just got this little newsletter for my area and they are talking about a new tax that started this past February.  It sounds a lot like a local tax that is already levied in this area and I'm wondering if its an additional tax!  Like I need to have to pay another tax!

Just got my cable bill for the month and it has gone up to just over $50.  I had always allotted $50 per month for the cable bill which now means I will have to adjust my budget or just make more money! Since I live in the Philadelphia area my cable company is Comcast of course the very BIG conglomerate I like to call them.  I have the choice of staying with Comcast, getting a different cable

Well I'm about as ready as I'll ever be! We're expected to get over 8 inches of snow tomorrow morning! Actually everyday there's housework but this particular day while I was doing laundry (and changing the cat litter) I did some other stuff as well.
